The Anti-Valentine Weekend Part 1

I had big plans for the weekend, as you read last week.  I was supposed to be a busy girl.  I really wasn't.  Well, let's just say it didn't turn out like I thought it would.  Ugh.

Friday night Josh bailed on me.  Apparently work is getting the best of him.  Landscaping is a hard job, but apparently trying to edge while there is three inches of snow (actually ice crusted snow) on the ground is a bit too much for him.  I just kind of laughed when he texted me to cancel.  He tried to get me to come to him, but I'm not trying to spend 5 days in jail over driving somewhere for sex.  I ended up just staying home and catching up on all the sleep I missed out on all week.

Saturday Little E didn't wake up until like 10, so we went to breakfast with my sister while she was on my side of town.  After that I had to pick Gavin up at the school because he was serving his Saturday School for peeking in the girls bathroom last week.  Damn kids.  I made him walk there and told him he needed to walk home for being such a freaking idiot, but the teacher made him text me and tell me I HAD to pick him up.  So much for punishment.  Dear children, they have video cameras in your school and they DO use them, so when you do dumb shit, you're always going to get caught.... Let this be your lesson.  In other news, it was interim day and Gavin had a super good one, so I couldn't be too mad at him.  Brandon, on the other hand, ugh.  I don't have any idea what's going to motivate this kid to do well.  He's so super lazy I just want to kick him in the ass.  I really can't say a whole lot though because I wasn't a stellar high school student either.  It wasn't that I wasn't smart, I just wasn't interested, so I did the bare minimum to get by.  This is exactly what he's doing.

Saturday night I went out with Sean.  He's such a nice guy.  He brought me roses and sweet-tarts when he picked me up.  Mmmm, I love sweet-tarts.  Probably even more than chocolate if that's possible.  Except for maybe those new Reese's mini's.  Those are the devil.  We hung out at his favorite bar for a little bit, then decided to go up to my sister's bar since one of my favorite bands was playing there.  That was the first time I'd been there since I got my DUI in November.  I miss going up there because there is always a good vibe in the bar.  Saturday night was no exception.  The place was packed.  I've never seen it that busy before.  When I texted my sister the next day, she said she'd never seen it that packed before either.  We got there early, so we actually got seats at the bar, but after a couple of hours, it was just annoying with all the people around and reaching over us for drinks, so we left and went to the spot close to my house.  Apparently I was a little more than drunk and don't really remember what went on at the last bar.

I woke up Sunday morning still a little drunk.  Ugh.  I hate when that happens.  Damn Cherry Bombs.  Luckily Little E was still in a sleeping mood due to his cutting 2 year molars, so we laid around for awhile.  My shirt that I had bought for my Anti-Valentine's party wasn't going to ship in time, so I needed to go shopping for something else to wear.  Ugh.  I hate the mall.  I really do, but I wasn't going to find a Fuck Valentine's Day shirt at Kohls or Old Navy, so I didn't really have another choice.  My friend Holly said she was down to have lunch then shop, so I peeled myself out of bed and got ready.

I needed carbs, so we went to Ruby Tuesday and I scarfed a cheeseburger and fries.  I really think I could live on those two things.  We sat around and talked for awhile because I don't get to see Holly very much, then ventured into the mall to see what I could find for the party.  I really didn't see a whole lot that I wanted.  This always happens when I have money.  Ugh.  Finally we went into Spencer's and I found exactly what I was looking for....  Except they were all out of the shirt.  Fuck.  Ok then.  I settled for this one:
and then I found this one, which I thought would be really fun with drunk people.  I figured I could actually charge them to write on my chest and they would actually pay because they're foolish like that.....

I was looking for a cute skirt to wear with the outfit when I ran across hot pink and black zebra striped leg warmers.  Oh.Hell.Yes.  They were totally fun, so I bought them.

I was gone for like 3 hours.  That's pretty much a marathon for me.  I really wanted a nap when I got home, but I still needed to make the jello shots for my party, so that's what I did.  Ugh.  They were a little more difficult than regular ones, but much more fun in the end.
Yes, those are syringes.  We sell them at my work and I thought they would be fun, so I bought some to try out.  After I was done with that, I had to hurry up and shower because I was going out with JK.  I decided to blow off the other guy because well, I thought I liked JK more......

We'll continue this in Part 2 since it's getting super long...
