Happy Hump Day...Randomness

So, my mind is in a lot of different places today... Here's a brief summary as of this moment...

-Vegas obviously needs me. I get mailers for free hotel nights all the time. Given my current financial situation, as much as I'd like to go out, I just can't justify it right now. Yesterday I got one that I'm going to seriously consider. Three nights at NYNY free over New Years weekend. New Years weekend people! That's huge. Plus free food at participating retailers in NYNY and $200 in free play. Bring a friend for only $59 a night........ OMG, mecca is calling..... I need a vacation from real life and if I can get everything back on track here real soon, I'm gonna book it. Nevermind the fact I probably don't have anyone to go with, it doesn't even really matter to me right now. Vegas needs me and I need Vegas.....

-I'm seriously considering becoming a nonsmoker. The problem is, I like to smoke. Really, I do. I realize it's a nasty habit and blah, blah, blah, but I truely enjoy it. I've been sick for like a week now and I know that smoking is making it worse. Hell, I'm a pack a day kind of girl and have been smoking only 5 or 6 a day over the last week or so, just because I think I re-fractured my ribs in a coughing fit this weekend. I don't know. G keeps nagging on me to quit. He and I have a deal that by my 33rd birthday I have to quit anyway. I promised him that. So why not just do it now? I mean, it makes sense. I'm sick and don't wanna do it right now. I really can't afford the habit anymore, and when you have to choose between eating lunch and buying a pack of cigarettes and choose the cigarettes, you really should probably quit. I'm kinda afraid to I guess. It's been something that's been part of me for so long, I guess it kinda feels like I'm losing part of my identity. That sounds totally gay. I don't know, something to consider I guess. If I put that $6 a day into a jar....hello Vegas....

-Speaking of sick, holy crap, is like 1/2 the country sick right now or what? Brandon said that they told them in school out of 620 kids in grades 7 & 8 over 260 were out sick already this week. That shit is crazy. Lucky for me, my kids went to daycare as soon as they were able to when they were babies. We had a couple of years of MAJOR cooties, including Gavin having meningitis, but now, they don't get sick hardly at all. They truly have great immune systems. What this means though, is that even though they don't get sick, their grubby little hands bring home all the cooties to me. Then I've got Ev in daycare, which right now is just a cesspool of snot and drool. Yeah, everything's coming home to me from all fronts. It kinda makes me want to bathe in sanitizer. I've got bronchitis or an upper respiratory infection. Something like that. Whichever one it is, it probably is going to require drugs to cure and I don't get paid for like a week and a half, so I'll just have to suffer, hoping it doesn't turn into like pneumonia or something.

-Talked to Kyle last night. He makes me laugh. Apparently he mailed out the paper to get his tags renewed via mail when he got home last time. On his way back down to Kentucky he remembered that he did that and he didn't get them while he was home, so he's freaking out. His tags will officially expire while he's on the boat. He's asking me if he's gonna go to jail over expired tags. Really? They don't put people in jail for that shit.... Well, maybe they do, I always wait till the end of the month to get mine, just because unless a cop is running your plates, the sticker color is the same all month long. I told him not to do anything stupid on his way home and he'd be fine. He settled down after that.

Umm, I think that's it for now.  I promise that I'll get the pics up from the prank at Tara's house on Monday night, sometime soon!

May your hump day be fantastic!

How Boring Am I???

My weekend, yeah it pretty much was as uneventful as I told you it would be. Friday night, we chilled and I watched Kyle get absolutely shitfaced on Jager bombs. It was funny, but in the end, he knew his limit, so there are no blackmail pictures of him praying to the porcelain god. Bummer....

Saturday I went to soccer and we went and saw I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell. It was probably the funniest movie I've seen in a long time. If you need a good laugh and don't mind VERY crude guy humor, go and see it. I thought I was gonna pee my pants a couple of times. You just don't expect what's gonna happen. Also, if you do go and see it, the real Tucker is the best man in the wedding. He does a great job as coming off as a total dork. Umm, what else? Oh yeah, after the movie I got to have my cheeseburger and waffle fries. They did not disappoint!

I made the mistake of planning this whole evening during a home Ohio State game. I hate Ohio State fans. They are all douchebags. Didn't it figure that the only theater showing the movie was in the heart of douchebag land during a home game. What a cluster fuck. I love drunks trying to walk wherever they want in the street. How many points do I get for running some of them over? We made it to the theater without incident..... Lucky for them..... It actually worked out pretty well besides the detour to get to the theater. There was hardly anyone in the movie and by the time we walked over to Champps, the dinner crowd was thinning out. I got to see my beloved Penn State completely fuck up the end of their game while enjoying the best cheeseburger ever.

Sunday, well, there was the birthday party. Everyone was cordial. I bolted as soon as humanly possible to take Ev to his grandmas so that I could go home. All I wanted to do was veg watching some football and napping for the rest of the day. Kyle had gone down to southern Ohio riding 4 wheelers, so by the time he got back into town around 7, I was napped and ready to party. Ok, that's a lie. I could have laid there all evening.... Oh wait, that's pretty much what we did. BORING, but it was nice.

Yesterday I was supermom. Well, not really. I got up and took Ev to daycare, then laid in bed with a headache until 11. By then I only had about 3 1/2 hours till the big kids got home, so I set out to get some stuff done. I cleaned my carpets because Ev's gonna be mobile soon. Let me just say, I knew they were bad, but I could have barfed when I dumped that first cycle of water out. I would have shampooed until the water came out clear, but I ran out of cleaner and that shit's kinda expensive! It looks really good though. Now if my pig children will just take their fucking shoes off and not eat/drink in the living room, we'll be good! Once it dried I moved all the furniture back in and rearranged things a little. I'm not sure if I like it, but Gavin does, so that's probably how it's going to stay for the time being. I finished up all the laundry and cleaned up the "boy" bathroom to round out my afternoon. The boy bathroom was disgusting. This is why I have my own bathroom. I'm having a jewelry party on Thursday so I figured I needed to get a head start on cleaning though because the boy bathroom is also the main bathroom in our house.

Kyle was back from his place by 6 and I made potato soup for dinner. It was sooooo YUMMY. I'm finally getting the hang of it, but damn, it's really easy to over/under cook those potatoes! Dave came over and we all hung out for the rest of the evening. Kyle and I have been plotting some mischief down at Tara's house and last night we finally got it. I don't have the pictures loaded onto my computer yet, so I'll post that either tonight or tomorrow. Needless to say, it was super funny.

I guess that's about it for now. I said goodbye to Kyle this morning. He's back on the boat for another 28 days :( What can I say about it though? I wish he was home all the time, but at his age, this job is an incredible opportunity for him. Besides, we're kind of getting into this weird relationship thingy that I'm not quite ready for. This time away should be exactly what I need to get my priorities in check......Or miss him alot.

The Fat Stripper & KOL Concert

Ok, so in my post from last weekend, I mentioned the fat stripper at my sister's bar. Well, turns out they have a Tuesday night Girls Night where this girl comes in and teaches all the drunks how to pole dance. Fun times. Anyways, this girl totally had the moves and in normal every day life, I wouldn't call her fat. She's probably what would be considered average in this day and age. But, in my head all strippers have at least 36D boobies, a 28" waist and are about 5'11" with names like Candy. She had the boobs and the moves, but nothing else that did it for me. All the guys found it more than entertaining though....

Let's see, what else? I'm full of piss & vinegar today. I was so excited for the concert, but in the end it was kind of a let down. The venue really sucked ass. I've seen concerts there before and don't remember them being this bad. Or maybe it was because our seats were three rows from the top of the arena and sound wasn't good up there. I don't know, there could be a million reasons. Kyle had a good time and since he paid for the tickets, that's all that matters. Here are a couple of pics before the bands came on. When the lights went out, we were to far away to capture anything good on my camera without the 5x zoom which doesn't take anything but fuzzy pics.
I'm so going to Stone Temple Pilots. The venue they're playing in is nice and up close & personal. I'm busy planning my financial recovery right now and if I can't do anything else next month while K is back on the boat that concert is the one thing I'm doing.

I'll probably post something else here shortly, it's not like I have a whole lot to do today......

Did You Know?

  • That it's super hard to get a good shave by the light of a candle?
  • That it's even harder to put on makeup at 6:30 in the morning by that same candlelight?
  • That it's premier week for pretty much all of my shows and I'm missing them?
  • That my Lil E has grown roughly 2.6 lbs a month since he was born?
  • That this blog has not featured any boobs in like a week?
  • That Puffs makes a tissue that's doused in both Vicks and lotion?
  • That the seats we have to the Kings of Leon concert tonight are 6 rows from the top of the arena and still cost over $100 for two tickets?
  • That I am unusually spunky today?
  • That seriously, someone took a dump on the floor in the bathroom at work today?
  • That I have IBS, but it wasn't me that took the dump on the floor?

That is all, carry on with your day :)

Soooo.... Part 2

Well, I expected that she just might say no. What I didn't expect was that she was going to flip the fuck out on me screaming in front of people at my work that I was an awful parent and that she was going to have my kids taken away from me.

WTF????

Can I tell you people how many times our poor white trash existence was interrupted by no electricity in our trailer when I was a kid? How many times we had to go out to the gas oven and warm up because there was no other heat? Not to mention how dangerous that really is.... Well, let's see....lots.. I'm sure more times than I can remember. So for her to flip out on me like that over this one instance was absolutely ridiculous. I've been on my own since I was 18 and have never had my electric turned off.

Lately with the reduced paycheck, increase in my mortgage and other expenses related to the baby, I'm spending a little more than I'm making. I'm kind of in a bind though, because I really can't get a 2nd job, as much as I would like to get out of the house a few evenings a week. Gavin's sports schedule and finding someone to watch the baby just won't accommodate it. And she's certainly not going to run him all over the place, so whatever. I'm starting to get back to regular paychecks now, so I'll get it worked out.

Anyways, once she calmed down, she came back over asking if the boys could spend the night at her house. I told her no. If they were upset about not having electric, they could stay at Tara's house right down the street. Gavin calls me to ask me if I know the power's out and I tell him yes, sometimes things like this have to happen in order to have a roof over our heads at all. He says ok and hangs up the phone. When I get home, the kids are playing in the front yard as usual.

Gavin asks me if I purposely had the electric turned off because they haven't been listening to me. I told him no, though that would have been a good idea. I crash for a couple of hours because I'm still super sick. When I get up, it's raining outside and the kids are sitting in the living room playing Monopoly. It's refreshing seeing them do something besides sitting on the computer or in front of the tv.

As it gets dark, we gather candles and place them all over the house.  Brandon and Gavin decide that they will both sleep in Gavin's room because Brandon is afraid of the dark. By 9pm, all three kids are asleep and all is well.

As a side note, I still have running water and my water heater is gas, so it still functions. It's not like none of that works too. Besides, for hundreds of years people lived without electric, what's a few days in the grand scheme of things?? Maybe it'll make these kids understand there are things more important than computers and video games.....

Soooo....

Here I am. Feeling a hundred percent better than I did Sunday and yesterday. Good thing, because the Kings of Leon concert is tomorrow night. I'd hate to be sick for that.

Let's see, where did we leave off... Oh yeah, my post with my deadbeat ex. It's making its rounds on the internet, fun shit. I'm sure at some point it will reach someone he knows and I'll have to deal with the ramifications of posting something so evil. No worries, I can deal with it.

This weekend was good until I got sick. Friday night all the neighborhood girls attended a "toy" party down at April's house. I'd never been to one before and let me just say, it was a lot of fun. I'm no prude, but I had NO idea that there were that many "marital aids" out there, or for those of us who are single, dildos, vibrators, etc. I'm not gonna tell ya what I bought, but I'll suffice to say it'll make the 28 days when the boy isn't here go quicker, lol!

After the party, we all went to the local watering hole, doused in pheromones from the party. Lemme tell ya what, those things are no joke. If ya wanna be attracting people to ya, that's the way to go I guess. That place was off the hook! A good time was had by all. Kyle came up later on and eventually we made it back to my house.

Saturday I had to be up at the ass crack of dawn for soccer. Who the hell thinks it's cool for 12 year olds to have to play their opening game of a tournament at 7:30 am? I had to have the kid up at 6am, which is earlier than we even get up on school days to get him fed and motivated. Lucky for me, he's a morning kid. I left the other two in bed and returned home for them after the game.

Because my kid plays club soccer on a scholarship, I have to be the club's bitch sometimes. This time, I had to be at the field from 7am-4pm fielding tournament questions and helping idiots find their way. It was a LONG day. By the time I left at 4, my sinus cavity was raw from breathing dust all day long. This was no good, I had a birthday party to go to!

After a short nap, my friend Nicole called to see if I wanted to have dinner with her and her kid for me babysitting for her all the time. I said sure and E &  I were off to Max & Erma's for dinner. I love M&E, but this time sucked assholes. We waited 30 minutes for our appetizer and when we got it, it was cold. Then we waited another 40 minutes for two burgers and a kids meal. WTF?? Did you have to go out back and kill the fucking cow? I was on a time crunch and was pissed. People all around us were getting their food and even leaving before we got our stuff. I finally flagged down a manager and let him have it. He apologized and a minute later we had our food.....And it was cold..... Really????? I worked in the foodservice industry for a lot of years, so don't be blaming something on your kitchen when it's a little more than obvious that it's your servers who are slacking. Anyways, to make it all right, he comped our meal. Nice, but I didn't eat a whole lot of it because it was cold. Oh well, at least I had something in my belly so I could go out drinking...

Kyle was a little mad that I was late getting back to the house I think. We had plans to meet his dad up there so he could get into the bar. I don't know how most states are, but here you can get into a bar when you're under 21 if you're with your parent. Hell, you can even drink if they buy it for you! We went to my sister's bar because it was my brother in law's birthday party. They had a local band, SWAGG (who are awesome) and the UFC fights showing. It was lots of fun and there was this chick on the stripper pole who was killin us with her "moves". If there are any pics worth posting when I check my camera, I'll put them up.

Anyways, the sister asked me as soon as we walked into the bar where Kyle's dad was and once I pointed him out, she was like OH DAMN, he is your dad? I LOVE HIM!! Turns out he's a regular there. Good stuff, but his dad still wouldn't buy him a drink. No biggie, we chilled and enjoyed the fights and the music. Things were getting a little out of control around 1, so we called it a night.

Sunday morning I woke up dead ass sick. My head felt like it was swollen up to about three times it's normal size. Luckily I didn't have to be at soccer until 9:20. We won, which meant we made it to the finals, so I went back home to take a nap before the game at 3. When I woke up, I felt even worse. Went to the game, lost, came back home and went back to sleep. Kyle stopped by a couple of times to check on me, then around 9 came over to watch the Dallas/Giants game. I didn't even make it until half time.

Yesterday morning I woke up feeling even worse. I got E ready for daycare and took him. I got back to the house, emailed work saying I'd be in at 1 and went back to bed. When I woke up at 11, I noticed that my fan wasn't on..... FUCK, they shut off my electric. Right now I'm living in this constant state of no money, so I have to pick and choose what bills get paid. Apparently I have not been choosing the electric bill for awhile. I call them to see if they can turn it back on if I promise to make a payment on Friday when I get paid. No dice. Ok then.... WTF do I do?

Well, when I get to work, I ask my mom to borrow $300 until Friday. When she asks why, I tell her......

Part 2 coming soon.....

I Am The Root of All That Is Evil

I did a BIG, BAD, MEAN thing yesterday.....

See, I'm gonna be real honest, I'm struggling financially right now. Ever since I was off work when I had Little E, I haven't been able to catch up. It's totally got me down right now. Well that and maybe what's classified as PMDD, you know, PMS's whore of a big sister? I'm kinda torn up...

Yesterday it was really bad. I had a shitty day at work, catching my boss sleeping yet again and then him deciding he was going to go home for the day. Seriously dude? Some good people lost their jobs here and you've still got yours, yet I do your work and you sleep either in your office or the bathroom pretty much all day. Then I got a call from a not so nice bill collector who I basically told them they could take my medical bill and shove it up their ass. There was more that threw me over the edge, but you get my point.

Anyways, maybe when I got home I needed to sedate myself and had 2 32 oz. mommy juices and was drunk by 6, which led to me posting the most evil hateful thing I could probably do on my MySpace blog. Looking back on it today, it was kind of mean, but did I take the post down? Hell no I didn't. As a matter of fact, I'm going to copy it right here for everyone to see.

Have you seen me?

Current mood: aggravated

Have you seen this boy?? I would have posted this as a bulliten, but couldn't figure out how to add a picture. If you have seen this asshole or if you know where he is, call the police. He's a wanted felon who owes me $50,000. I'll give the person who gets him thrown in jail $100. Feel free to copy and send on to your friends...... He answers to dickface or Nick Reeves and is probably robbing your house or car while you sleep or selling drugs to your children.....

Oh yeah, this bitch in the picture lives in Beacon and says they're best friends...She's a whore with like 10 kids and he's probably fucking her.

__________________________________________________________________

Insert manical laugh here.....

I LOVE IT....

I'm not generally a mean, salty person, but this one particular asshole is about to feel my wrath and he's going down. If someone finds him and calls the police, he goes to jail for 30 days this time. Then he'll get out, not pay, and I'll do the whole thing over again, next time it's 60, then 90, you get the point.

It won't get me the money that he owes me, but it will make me smile inside. Small victories here people, that's all I'm lookin for.

I'll be sure to update on the status of this evil plot.....

Happy Thursday!!

If There's One Movie...

that I want to see this year, this is it. Tucker Max's - I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell. Yes, it's crude guy humor. I find this shit funny, if you don't sorry, you can stop reading now.

The Red Band Trailer (which means rated R) can be found here. I would embed it, but I have no idea how to do that, lol.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CS5YXd7Vw20

Anyways, I've been a fan of his for years after stumbling across his website, then reading his book, (same title as the movie) which has spent something like 2 years on the NY Times Bestseller List. His new book, Assholes Finish First, is coming out soon and I can't wait to read it. His group, Rudius Media, hosts a bunch of really awesome bloggers. For some reason, alot of them don't update anymore, but are worth checking out the archives if you're bored. They can be found down the right side of www.tuckermax.com. Personal favorites include:

http://www.gaijinsmash.net/ Which is a black guy living in Japan teaching school children English. There's some priceless comedy here.

http://www.slowchildren-atplay.com/ Which was written by a counsellor at a camp for emotionally disturbed kids.

http://www.daddydonthitme.com/ A blog about two guys reflecting back on their lives.

http://www.fireontheline.com/ Written by a prison guard

http://www.tard-blog.com/ Which is written by a special ed teacher. Yes, I know this one is so politically incorrect and not nice, but the way this girl wrote these stories cracks me up.

You don't need to comment with how inappropriate any of this is. I know. There is a special place in hell reserved for me and the people like me who enjoy this type of stuff....

Oh yeah, if anyone is interested in reading the book, let me know, I'll send it to ya.

Enjoy and Happy Hump Day!!

As I've Said Before......

I'm damaged goods. I've been through a lot and you know what? I've kicked ass and taken names pretty much the whole way. Kelly said in the comment section last week that it didn't seem like I worried too much about what people think about me. She's right, anymore, it's kinda like my blog title says, I Can't Help It, I'm Just Me and if you don't like it, OH FUCKING WELL.

I've deleted this post 3 times now. I just can't seem to find the words I want to use. I hate it when this happens. The original three posts that I wrote I believe were a little too personal. Yeah, I know, there are lots of posts here with personal shit on them, but where I ended up going with this one just kinda felt a little too fresh to talk about. Kinda like the scab is still there and not quite ready to be picked off, for lack of a better analogy. Now I have to think of another way to approach it without getting that deep...............

I guess the best way to say it is that for the last year and a half, I've been single.....Kind of. Ok, well lets just say that I haven't been in the kind of relationship where I'd introduce my parents to anyone in the last year and a half. Here's where I want to get into specifics, but I just can't. Let's just fast forward to the end of May when I met Kyle. Kyle is Dave's friend. Dave has a crush on me, but totally isn't my type. He's a trainwreck and kinda like my little brother. Get him drunk and he has no problem telling whoever is in earshot that I am the perfect woman and if I wasn't seeing Kyle he'd marry me. Alrighty then....thanks Dave, glad we all know how you feel now, lol.

Let me sidebar here for a minute.... I have this thing.... I don't know what it is and I don't want to sound vain or anything when I say it, but it has to be said. I must exude this...{insert word I can't come up with here}. I don't even know what to call it..... Guys are attracted to me. Like some weird shit. I've asked several of my guy friends and boyfriends why they're drawn to me and they can't pinpoint it. I was just at Advance Auto getting a battery and was asked why a beautiful little thing like me is carrying that heavy battery around. Seriously? It's a fucking battery, my child weighs twice as much and I carry him around constantly! These men must have the most PATHETIC women in their lives. I mean, I have a zit the size of a large tumor right now and nobody notices. They're worried about me carrying around a fucking battery. I feel freaking gross with this thing on my face. I need to know what this is so I can turn it off. I don't need the drama that follows meeting all these new boys constantly.

Do any of you guys know what I'm talking about here? Have you ever met a girl/guy that you just click with on one level or another and can't quite place why? Or maybe you've figured it out and can let me know what it is.

Ok anyways, back to the story here.

So back to Kyle. I think I've written about how we met. I know that I've also written about his job and the 28 days home, 28 away. I met him right before he left in June, while he was gone, we texted occasionally usually it'd be a drunk text from me that would start a conversation. When he was home in July there were only a couple of days where he wasn't at my house at some point in the day or night. Last time he was gone we either video chatted or texted at least once every day. He's been home for two weeks now and I feel special that instead of going home and sleeping that first night back, he came directly to my house to see me. I've seen him pretty much every day since he's been home.

Last night we went out. We have never gone out, besides to our friend's houses for parties and stuff of that sort. That doesn't really count. Last night we actually went to see Inglorious Basterds (God I hate it when they spell shit wrong...). Ehh, the movie was ok. Pretty much standard Tarintino in my book. It was waaayyy too long. 152 minutes is a long time to sit. The good news is that we went to Movie Tavern, where they have a full bar and menu so I wasn't just sitting there eating popcorn and being bored.

ANYWAYS, see? I'm sooo distracted today! So yeah, we went out. I guess you'd call it a date. Now I feel all weird about it. Tara was making fun of me last weekend saying he's my boyfriend, blah blah blah, and I'm like, Tara, he is not! We're just hanging out having a good time. I felt like we were 12 again arguing back and forth with her....

So we're on our way home and his mom calls him because she hasn't seen him in the very little time he's spent at home. She's all asking him who he's with and he says a friend, then she said male or female, and he's like female, and then she's like oh.....I didn't know you had a girlfriend and he said I don't mom, she's a girl I knew from school. Yeah, his phone was up loud enough that I could hear the entire conversation. He gets off the phone and just looks at me. He's like, I didn't know what to say to her. Oooookaaayyy. I can get that his mom probably isn't all that much older than me and he doesn't want to start a war over seeing me. It was just weird.

I know that seeing a 19 year old isn't going to work out in the long run. That's not what I'm lookin for here. I don't do long term unless you consider something around 6 months long term. I'd like to say that there is just too much of a difference in where we're at in our lives, but there's really not. He's actually a responsible adult. Unlike the guys I keep meeting that have no job, no car, no place to live and so much emotional baggage you could dam the Mississippi river with it, he's normal, and he likes me for me. The big kids don't freak him out, the baby doesn't freak him out, the fact that I have responsibilities that don't include him doesn't freak him out, which is a lot more than I can say for most guys.

I don't know, now that I've written it all down, it sounds stupid.

Thank You Arizona....

For fucking up my perfect pro football picks yesterday..... I really didn't need the $40 that my pool pays out weekly to the winner. College, well that was a different story, I didnt suck, but I didn't do stellar either. My total was 24 wins out of a possible 30. Not bad for week one. But mom did two better, God I hate her! Why do I let her play in my football pool? Gavin didn't do too bad either, 23 out of 30, pretty good for a 12 year old. He's going to be my degenerate gambler. He is my mini-me. I can't wait till he's old enough to go to Vegas with me. We will hold down the blackjack table for hours on end. He's already better at blackjack than I am. I teach them well, lol.

The fam reunion was ok. Besides my immediate family, it was a bunch of people I didn't know, so whatever. Some of my family that hasn't gotten to see little Ev got to finally meet him, so that was cool. The ride over sucked, 4 1/2 hours because some jackass lost his semi load in Youngstown during rush hour. Ev apparently doesn't like sleeping anywhere but his bed, so we slept all of 3 hours on Friday night and only napped a little at the family reunion on Saturday. That sucked. One funny thing that happened was that there was a while elephant auction and B was bidding up a storm on this one particular item. He was positive it was gonna be candy. He finally won with a bid of $7 and was excited to see what was inside. He opened it up to find a bottle of stool softener..... Everyone else thought it was hilarious and he laughed too, but didn't get it. My mom had to explain to him what it was for, then Gavin inappropriately chimed in saying OHHHH, I thought it was to make your you-know-what soft and proceeded to rub his crotch. I thought my mother was going to die. This kid, I can't even explain him. He is a 20 year old trapped in a child's body. He has always been like this.

In other news, thank you Ohio State for LOSING Saturday night. It made my night. Not that I'm a USC fan, I'm not. I'm a Penn State fan. I like to see Buckeye fans crying and setting shit on fire because they lost. That right there made it ok that little E screamed like someone was cutting his legs off for 2 1/2 out of the three hours and 15 minutes that it took me to get home. Thank the lord for Tara. I texted her letting her know I didn't think I'd be home before the liquor store closed and she took care of me by picking up a bottle for me. I pulled in the driveway, picked up still screaming little Ev and walked down to April's house where everyone was chillin outside with a fire watching the game. I handed him over, briefly mumbled something about understanding why some mothers shake their babies to death, went and made myself a drink, popped a Vicodin and life was much better. A few minutes later, Kyle showed up and all was well with the world. Good friends, good food and football....Love it. When the game was over, a bunch of us went back to my house. Since I didn't have a fire, we all layed around my bedroom shootin the shit, listening to music, running around putting my Penn State hat on each other and taking blackmail pictures. Good times....I finally got to sleep around 4 and had to be back up at 9 for soccer.

I just wanna say, I LOVE lazy Sundays. I don't get them very often, but after soccer, I put the baby down for a nap, crawled back in bed and snuggled up with Kyle and dozed in and out until 3, football playin in the background. It was perfect. The bigger boys were going to the Crew game with little Ev's other set of grandparents, so I got up and made sure they were presentable and gave my little speech about being grateful and all that bullshit out of the way. They left, Kyle went home to get showered (because for some reason that's our boundary. He doesn't keep anything at my house) and me and the little one hung out and I got ready to go out for the evening.

Kyle was back at my house about an hour or so later. He lives about 20 minutes away, so I thought he was there and back in record time. I was still trying to get ready, luckily babies don't scare Kyle, so he played with Ev while I finished getting ready.

What to say about last night...... Well...... Kyle and I pretty much went on our first date. I guess you'd call it that... You know what, I'll write about this in another post because maybe I need some feedback on the situation.

Happy Monday Everyone!

Sick of This Life....

Not that you care, I'm not the only one with whom these feelings I share. Nobody understands, quite why we're here, searchin for answers.....that never appear. Maybe if I look real hard I'd see ya tryin to, to understand this life that we're all goin through....

Ha, nothing like a little Guns N Roses to start off your morning, right? This song, Dead Horse, is probably up there with my favorite GNR songs. Back when I used to buy cd's, the cd would stay in my car until I had heard the whole thing at least three times. Yeah, it's just easier to skip to the songs that were the reason you bought the cd, but seriously, I think most of the time, there are hidden gems on a cd that will never see the light of radio. Dead Horse is one of them. Get In The Ring and Mr. Brownstone also totally kick ass. Get In The Ring talks about media talking shit about bands, so naturally it would never see the radio and I believe Mr. Brownstone got some heavily edited play, but I was 9 when this cd came out, so I wasn't exactly paying a whole lot of attention to what my mom was listening to on the radio back then.
____________________________________________________________________

Switching gears slightly because I really don't have anything to talk about today..... I'm really excited for the Kings of Leon show here in a couple of weeks. The Kyle bought us tickets. He can afford the fun stuff in life because he has 4, yes, I said 4, bills to pay each month...... In addition, last week it was announced that Stone Temple Pilots are coming to our outdoor venue (which I LOVE cause you can get right up close) and Jay-Z is coming. I mean, look, I could actually smell how dirty Chris Robinson actually was when we went to Black Crowes:
I think when we saw Chris Cornell at House of Blues in Vegas was the only time I have been closer to the stage. Man, I need to sell some more plasma or get off my ass and sell some of the stockpile of jewelry I've been making, because these are two shows that I've gotta see. I've never seen STP, but love their music. They were here for Rock on the Range I think it was last year, but that was a ticket I definately couldn't afford. Jay-Z on the other hand, I know I've seen at least twice, maybe three times, I don't know, life was a big cloud of pot smoke back then...... He actually puts on a pretty good show. ____________________________________________________________________
Umm, what else? Oh yeah, I'm not so glad this week is going quickly. I have to go over to Pennsylvania this weekend for a family reunion. I am just SOOOOO not interested in doing this, but it's my mom's birthday Saturday and she said the only thing she wanted was for the family to spend time together. Barf.... Anyways, I'm getting off relatively easy for this one, I have to be back in Columbus first thing Sunday morning, so the kids and I are bolting outta there Saturday evening. I may even get home in time to see USC kick Ohio State's ass. Then we have a soccer game on Sunday and little Ev's other set of grandparents are taking the big kids to the Crew game for their birthdays. If only I can get rid of little E for awhile that evening, maybe I can do something fun like make the boy take me to see Inglorious Bastards... We'll have to see what I can work out.

Warning, there are boobs below, not naked ones, but if you're offended, stop reading now.....

___________________________________________________________________

Just for you Mikey and yes, they're mine, lol! Not quite glistening cleavage this time, but they look huge!!

Oh yeah and here's a little bit of motor boating fun from last weekend:

Tara and Coutney were killin me with this shit......
Oh hey, if you made it this far, what do ya think about boobs? I had a boy tell me the other day that fake ones sucked... I've never heard that out of a guys mouth before, so I asked baby daddy who said all boobs are nice, which I disagree with, not all boobs are nice. I saw some over the weekend that WERE NOT nice..... See, I kinda want fakies, but I'm not sure. Not big huge stripper ones, just like a full C or maybe a small D. Mine are ok I guess, but I'd just like them to be bigger I guess...
Happy Thursday Everyone!

560 Miles and 8 Hours....Part 2

Ok, so where did I leave off? Oh yeah, the trampoline. Word of advice, even if you're drunk, it's never to be advised to have a lit cigarette. Yeah, I thought I could do it, lol....

ANNYYWAYS, as usual, we all decided it would be a good idea to go up to the local watering hole and get shots. Damn it, I really need to just stock up on liquor so we can do this at home... We all head up the street and get shots, then the pole dancing started.....

Me thinks maybe Kel does this for a living, though she claims she's a server.....

We were all chillin doing shots and having a good time when April comes up to me to tell me that my ex-husband is sitting out on the patio. Oh great.... I haven't talked to him since our divorce hearing and before that it was when I was kicking him to the curb for being such an asshole last July. Hey, life's too short to spend it miserable. I do sometimes regret that we didn't try and work it out though. Oh well. I tell Kyle that he's there and that we may have to bolt if he starts shit. Kyle is pretty much scared shitless because ex is a pretty big dude. Ex is social with alot of the hood people, so they're talking to him and pretty soon he and I are talking too. I was way DRUNK by this time, so it really didn't matter to me. He was pleasant and someone talked him into coming back to my house with all of us.

Here's where it starts getting a little hazy...Did I mention that Kyle and I made about 150 jello shots on Friday night? We did. And I had taken a Vicodin for the ribs earlier. Choo Choo....Train wreck about to happen.

We pull back up to the house and are pissing around out front and all the sudden there is a policeman walking towards me. I ask him if there's a problem, thinking someone was pissed about the music earlier and he told me that he had several reports of someone running down the street screaming. I assured him that it wasn't anyone that was at my house (because we had just gotten back there) and he told us to have a good night and left. It was weird, he didn't run any plates, didn't look in the back yard to see if anything weird was going on, nothing.... That is not typical of cops in the hood, but whatever, Kyle is underage and was hiding under my bed, lol.

I get everyone out back as not to draw anymore attention to us and the sombrero makes it's way to the back yard....

This is Dave and I. He looks like he's been on a bender in Tiajuana...

Casey was rockin it too. I have no idea where we picked him up again.....
Then there was Kel and her version of the mexican hat dance...

It was a load of fun until there was some drama. I won't go into detail, but HEY, it didn't involve me! I can't help what happens when grown adults do dumb shit with their spouse around the corner.... Everything got a little crazy for a minute, certain people at the party had to be escorted home and one person had to be chased down the street and gotten under control. I'm not a big fan of drama, but sometimes this stuff happens, no big deal. We got it somewhat taken care of. What happened to the people involved in the morning, I still haven't heard.....

The rest of us stay out until about 3:30 or so. Rob, April's husband from two doors down stumbled over at some point I guess. I only know this because his wife told me he did when I saw her last night. I finally got to bed sometime around 5am and had to be back up and out of the house at 6:30 to head back to Dayton... Needless to say, I shouldn't have went to sleep, but I passed out and woke up out of a dead sleep at 7am. We made it to soccer with about 5 minutes to spare before game time. The referee joked that maybe the coach and I were hanging out together the night before because he was late too. I thought to myself.....I wish....He's hot.

Played the soccer game and then drove home to face the mess from Saturday night. My back yard was a wreck. Got that all cleaned up then crashed until we had to go leave to go back to Dayton at 4. On our way home the last time, I stopped in Springfield for gas. My car wouldn't start back up after I pumped gas. I feel like I'm in some small town that breeds nothing but evil because up the hill from the gas station, there are pig heads on stakes in the ground and multiple patrons of the gas station are missing teeth and looked like they haven't showered in the last week. I had both of the older boys with me and they looked scared. The helpful gas station attendance called over a scary man who jumped my battery and suggested that I go down the street to the local Auto Zone and they could charge the battery for me. I politely thanked him for his help and hauled ass back onto the freeway, putting as much distance between me and those people as I could. I come from rural Pennsylvania, so I know creepy hillbilly, but the pig heads just totally freaked me out.

I stop and pickup little E and we head on home where Kyle has movies and is waiting on me to just chill. I got the kids to bed and made it about an hour into the movie and was out like a light. I would like to say that yesterday I slept in, but little one was ready to play at like 8 and Kyle had to leave to go watch mud boggin, whatever that is. I spent all day with Gavin, cleaning out closets and listen to him complain about not making the finals for soccer. I was ready to stab a pencil in my eye to put myself out of my misery. Luckily little one took a good nap and so did I.

I get a call about 7 and it's Tara down at April's house wanting me to come down. I grab a drink and little E and we head over there to hang out on the patio. Kyle shows up a little while later and we head back to the house and I get the kids to bed because it's a school night. By this time I think I had two drinks maybe. I don't know. We were just sittin in my room listening to music and chillin when Dave and Shriver walk in the back door and scares the shit out of both of us. They stayed till about 2, and just maybe I smoked a little. Damn these young boys, they are corrupting me, just like my sister said they are!! Finally I said, "Hey, does anyone here have to work besides me tomorrow?" and they all tell me no and laugh. They finally left and I passed out. I don't like mixing smoking and drinking because it puts me into this coma like state and that's exactly what happened last night.

So that's it.... Oh yeah, just for you Mikey, they're not mine, but they're awesome and real:

And here's one of me and Kate, just because I bought this hat on Friday when I was depressed about money and think it's totally cute.

Now it's time for me to catch up on all the stuff you guys wrote over the weekend that I missed!! Happy Tuesday everyone!!

560 Miles and 8 Hours....

of my life that I'll never get back...... Driving back and forth to the soccer tournament on Saturday and Sunday just to not do well enough to make the finals on Monday pretty much sucked.... Oh well, at least I got to be productive yesterday around the house. The things we do for our kids.... To make it worse, Gavin cried the whole way home on Saturday night because last weekend he pulled a groin muscle and two games in one day was just too much for him with the injury. The two games he played on Sunday didn't make it any better.

ANYWAYS..... What an absolutely weird weekend.... Friday night we hood partied down the street, but somehow everyone ended up drunk by 10:00 and I was at home passed out in bed by 10:30. That was ok though because I had to leave for Dayton at 7:00 Saturday morning.

Saturday pretty much sucked all day long. We had games at 9:15 and 6:00. Yes, 6pm. I drove home in between games because spending the day with Gavin was far more likely to cost more than the half tank of gas it took to commute back and forth. I actually got home around 11:30 and was able to get a bunch of stuff done for the party, which was nice. Went back to Dayton and played our 6:00 game and then hauled ass back to Columbus because I had the End of the Summer Party going on. We didn't get back into town until almost 8:30 and people were already congregating at April's house. As soon as I walked in, Tara was there with her head on a stick. Here he is:
Here's mine with the Ape head and Gavin being stupid:
Yeah, he's got a nice mullet and you can't see that people decided it would be funny to stick a cigarette in his mouth. The head, not the kid...
There was a lot going on there for a minute. People wandering in, food getting set out, me changing clothes.... I had forgotten that last weekend, I asked Mike, April's brother, to bring his guitar so that he could play for us. I'm a sucker for a man that can play the guitar! All the sudden I walk outside and there he is setting up his amp and getting ready to play. Awesome, live music in my back yard. Making it slightly better was that another neighbor came down with his guitar and amp and they jammed for about 2 hours. I was pretty certain that the cops were going to be called, but in the end, that wasn't the reason they came....
Here's a pic of the boys jammin:
We had a nice fire going and everyone was having a good time. Non hood regulars Matt & LaLa came and they're always a hoot. Matt thought it would be fun to stick hot fire poker sticks into the foam heads and since he made a hole in the mouth and all, he decided to violate the hole.

Then, I don't remember who's brilliant idea it was, but we had some girls on trampoline time. Which, just a side note here, my trampoline is a death trap, there's about a 3 foot hole in the one side where the springs are missing, so for drunk people it's a little more than dangerous.

That's me hanging onto the net for dear life. I almost squished Tara by falling onto her.

And yes, I do wear my sunglasses at night...

And that's my big ass climbing through the hole to get back on because it was way less work than climbing up where you were supposed to get on.

This was more than amusing to everyone involved..... We'll wrap up part one there, I gotta run to lunch and this is getting long with all the pictures....

Because Right Now.....

My mind is saying alot of things. Here they are in no particular order....

-Topping off two packs of donuts with 3 egg salad sandwiches is intestinally a recipe for disaster.
-See, I told you I eat what I want....
-A little over 24 hours from now, the boy will be back for 28 days...
-Mother Nature gave me a reprieve from 7 days of miserable to only 4 because she knows the boy will be back tomorrow.
-Mafia Wars on Facebook is like a crack addiction
-Hurricane Mikey bought the couch I wanted, at least his won't get baby vomit or pee on it
-I really need to change my list of blogs I follow to reflect current reading materials
-WOO HOO I have another follower. Hope you can make sense of my craziness, love your blog Mejis. I feel right at home when I'm reading your stuff, lol.
-FUCK....Egg salad not sitting well
-I hope nobody is offended by the work FUCK, I use it alot.
-It's amazing that my new 500GB external hard drive just showed up and it's only slightly bigger than my iPhone.
-There is an app for the iPhone called Cougar Call. It's well worth the .99 I paid for it.
-Can you see that I'm bored at work today???

Happy Tuesday!

Edited to add:
-This one is major. I WILL NEVER wax or have someone else wax anything but my eyebrows. Lesson learned....

Body Image----BARF

Ok, so I've re-written this post 3 times now. I can't seem to put into words exactly what I want to write on this topic. As I sit here munching on my 2nd pack of chocolate donuts this morning, i want the words to come out perfectly onto the screen and they're not for some reason.....

Here are 4 questions I'd like for you to answer. I'll give you my answers at the end. I know people are reading this even though I only have 3 followers. Don't be shy, I just want to know how people really feel about this.... And I'm a comment whore, so seeing them makes me oh so happy.

1. Do you struggle with the way you see yourself in the mirror?
2. Are you doing something about it?
3. Has what you've seen in the mirror led to issues with your life?
4. Do you have an "issues" with other people because of your body image?
5. Is there a name for your issue? Ex. Anorexia, OCD, etc. If you don't want to call it out here, I understand, but I'm gonna tell you what Web MD says mine is.

My answers:
1. Yes, every day since I was about 15. Though I was skinny as a rail back then, when I looked in the mirror, all I saw was imperfection. All I still see is imperfection.
2. For years no, more recently I decided I need to be healthier and started going to the gym. Hey, it's free, so I figured why not?
3. Uhh...Yeah, I won't have sex with the lights on for starters... If I don't wanna look at my perceived flaws, I definately don't want you to see them! Plus I find the sight of a penis much too funny to continue on with sex. What else... I divorced my husband for many reasons, one of which was that he didn't take care of himself. How am I supposed ot get over my isses and try to live healthier when he put on 75 lbs after we got married eating 2 big macs every day?
4. If I look in the mirror and see 200lbs even when I weigh 140, you can believe that I see flaws in other people. I used to be extremely judgemental about people and weight/looks, but I've had a few people come into my life that have shown me that not all over weight people are lazy slobs, not all people missing several teeth are meth heads, not all ugly people were beaten with a stick as children.
5. Web MD says I have BDD, Body Dysmorphic Disorder. I'm obsessively stressing over my stomach. It is my major flaw. Actually, if you look up BDD, I think a lot of women would fit into this "disease" on some level. I'm also OCD about some things that I just can't help. No, unlike most of America these days, I am not medicated for either of these conditions.

Here's the thing though. I'm not really willing to change my lifestyle to accommodate living healthier. I mean, yeah, I'm going to the gym 3-4 times a week (when my ribs weren't fractured), but I'm NOT willing to change my eating habits. Damn it, if I want 3 helpings of mashed potatoes, hell yeah, I'm gonna have them. If I wanna have two packs of chocolate donuts for breakfast, I'm gonna eat them. Bottom line is, I don't have time to plan perfect healthy meals for myself and my family. One child alone in my household takes up 6 nights of my week with soccer. My oldest is low maintenance, but then there's the baby who can't be out of view of me in the evenings. It's just not happening. I blame this on my mother by the way.

When we were growing up we did not eat meals at the table as a family. We were a serve yourself kind of household for as far back as I can remember. Before we moved to Ohio my mom worked 3 jobs to support us, so if we wanted to eat, it was up to us to make it happen. I have raised my kids to be independent like this as well. Not simply just because we're busy or I'm lazy, but also because what woman wants a man who has never made toast? Certainly not me and I've met some of them. Damn momma's boys....

I know you're gonna tell me that snacking on carrots and shit is just as easy as picking up the donuts. Well, yes it is, but I want donuts. Plain and simple....

Will I ever be a size 3 like I REALLY want? Well, no. But you know what? Even if I was, I would still look in the mirror and make barfing noises.

EDIT TO ADD:
Something else just popped in my head about me and my body issues, lol. When I was talking with "Brad" as mentioned in a previous post, one of his reasons for not wanting to be with me back in the was that I was too skinny. He said that now that I have some meat on my bones if he wasn't married he'd totally go for me. WTF? Can I get a man perspective here? Too skinny? What the hell does that mean???? Calling Hurricane Mikey who will probably skip over this post because there isn't a picture of my boobs.....
