I'm having an A.D.D kind of day already and I've only been at work for an hour and a half. Ugh. I hate these kind of days because I get absolutely nothing accomplished. Being as I have to work both jobs today, I really need to get some things done.
Let's talk about the two job thing for a minute. This was my schedule last week.
Monday 7am-4pm Job 1, 5pm-12am Job 2
Tuesday 7am-4pm Job 1
Wednesday 7am-4pm Job 1, 7pm-1am Job 2 1 1/2 hour drive in between jobs to pickup E.
Thursday 7am-4pm Job 1, Then went on a date and got home around 11, in blizzard like conditions
Friday 7am-4pm Job 1, 5pm-3am Job 2
Saturday 1pm-7pm Job 2, Then went on a date with the guy from Thursday and got home around midnight.
Sunday 1pm-7pm Job 2, Stayed after planning only to watch the rest of the Steelers game and ended up getting ridiculously drunk due to my exhaustion and people buying rounds of Cherry bombs because the Steelers won. Arrived home around midnight and passed out on the couch.
Monday 7am-4pm Job 1, 5pm-12am Job 2
Tuesday 7am-4pm Job 1, drive and hour and a half to pickup E. Got home, bribed Gavin to watch E for a bit so I could nap. Woke up, bathed and put the kid to bed, fell back asleep until Brandon called, done with ski club at 10. Picked him up, fell back asleep until my friend John called at 11 with a relationship problem. Back asleep by midnight. Sleep fitfully until 6:15 this morning because E keeps waking up.
Today? Same as last Wednesday. Ugh. Burning the candle at both ends for sure. Luckily after tonight I don't have to work the rest of the week at Job 2. Some things came up at the bar and some people needed some time off, so I filled in. It's hard to turn down the money. I mean, I made like $700 last week. Because of my bankruptcy, I'm only bringing a little more than that home from my day job every two weeks, so you can see where the money is so tempting no matter how shitty I feel. Plus, it felt good to give Gavin a hundred dollars when he went with my mom Saturday to buy new shoes and pick out paint for his room. They've gone without the things they're used to having for like two years now. Don't get me wrong, they still have the necessities, it's just Payless and Walmart, not Nikes and Macy's. I'm gonna get all caught up here soon with all of this hard work!!
Hmm, what else? Oh yeah, The Driver. Well, he's gone. He went to work Thursday night and never came back. That worked out a whole lot easier than I thought it would. He called on Saturday to tell me his mom was in the hospital, but really didn't make any mention of coming back to the house or anything. Umm, ok then. It sort of left me in a slight predicament as far as getting to work over the weekend, but I got it figured out. Now I just have to figure out what to do with all of his clothes that are at the house....
Brandon survived his big ski trip with only a slightly sprained ankle. He wouldn't tell me how he did it, but I'm assuming he was pulling some dumb ass moves in the terrain park. Who knows. It's actually funny, the guy that I was on the date with Saturday night actually took me over to the school to pick him up. I thought that was awfully sweet of him considering they got back from the trip like two hours ahead of schedule. He's nice and all, but living at home when you're 30 is probably going to mean you're NOT a keeper, even if you have a good job and say it's just to help them out. We'll have to see about this one...
In other news, I have an appointment with Children's Services on Friday. They're coming out to the house to evaluate our living conditions because apparently Jordan was serious about trying to make my life a living hell. when I came home last Friday I found a letter from them in the mail and immediately called so I could get it out of the way. Personally, I thought they just showed up one day on your doorstep. Apparently not. The lady I spoke to was really nice and all the things she asked me about I had answers for, so I'm assuming the home visit is just a formality. When I picked up E yesterday Jordan told me "Enjoy the rest of your week with him because I'm pretty positive it will be one of your last." Alright dick, whatever. The State of Ohio doesn't take kids away from their moms. Believe me, I know this for a fact. Being as I don't have a drug problem (which is the ONLY time I've seen a kid taken away & even then it was only temporary), I think I'm good to go. The whole thing is just a ridiculous waste of everyone's time perpetrated by a dumb cunt. I don't ever use the "C" word. This chick is for sure one.
I think that's about it for now. As you can see, things are slightly ridiculous, but I'm getting there. If I can manage to get through this week in tact, things will be all good :) Happy Hump Day peeps!

I loved the steelers winning hahaha
And can I just say, woman you are a workin machine!LOL
thats awesome, you seem to be working stuff out pretty well. I'm glad.
One thing about working so much is that it limits the amount of trouble you can get into. You are lucky that you can still maintaine a social schedule even under these gruelling circumstances.
Noelle- HELL YEAH STEELERS!! And yes, I'm a working machine, lol. It sucks...
Mike-You're right, kind of. I managed trouble Sunday night, but not the kind that warrants talking about. Let's just say that too many Cherry Bombs led to an apparent flashing.... Umm, yeah don't remember that, but I had two guys come in last night because they heard about it and wanted to see if I was worth what they missed Sunday night... Lol... The social schedule, well, I'll make time for just about anything if I think it might be worth it :)
LOL. Your life sounds as wacked as mine.. maybe more.. LOL. Awesome read! Josie posted about you and I figured I would check it out. Good luck with everything.
Umm yeah, my life is pretty fucking ridiculous... It's all good though being as it provides me something interesting to blog about.... Thanks soooo much for stopping by!!
