Time flies when you're having fun I suppose..... Thanks for all your comments and emails of support regarding the kid thing. I haven't heard anything from his dad since I picked him up and Children's Services hasn't been to my house, so I don't know if he was just being an ass to be one or what, but I do have everything documented yet again, just in case he decides to do something stupid. I suppose we'll see this afternoon when I go pick the kid up again. Ugh. Who needs this crap? Certainly not me, but there's not a whole lot I can do besides nod my head at him and say "Whatever you say Jordan" while thinking "God, I want to beat the living hell out of you right now."
Anywho, on to less serious things.... I had my first official night of the new job on Monday night. After training Thursday and Saturday, they finally left me do it by myself on Monday. It was fun! They have a good base of regulars there and they really made me feel welcome. There isn't a whole lot going on there on Monday nights, but I managed to get them to keep money in the jukebox and we CRANKED up the music. I had them singing and dancing all over the place. It was great. In addition, any Monday night that I can walk out of a place at midnight with over $100 is a good night in my book! I work again tonight, so we'll see how it goes, but I'm really enjoying the social aspect of it all, just like I used to when I worked at Applebee's for so many years. I need that interaction... I crave it.....
What else? Oh yeah, I'm sending Brandon off to another state with little parental supervision for 24 hours this weekend. That should be interesting. The kid is 14 and besides sending him to Washington DC last year with school, this is the first time he's ever been away without at least a family member being there. He's in ski club and they're trekking up to Holiday Valley in New York for some fun on the slopes this weekend. He has to be dropped off at the school at 1:45am Saturday morning and then picked up around 1am Sunday morning. Damn that's a long day! It'll be his first time going snowboarding somewhere that's not a joke, like our "mountains" around here are, and he's beside himself excited. All I'm hoping is that I don't get a phone call saying he went down the black diamond trail and broke a leg...... Because he's that kid who always has to push the limits....
I guess that's about it for now. Nothing too interesting going on, but I may have some developing guy news to report after the weekend.... We'll have to see how all that goes. Now that I have driving privileges I'm thinking it's about time to dispose of the driver. He's annoying and some dumb shit has been happening with him lately that isn't going to change my mind about him being annoying......
Have a good hump day peeps :)

Thank you so much for the BEAUTIFUL beaded necklaces. LOVE them! I got them yesterday and I'm wearing the turquoise and silver on in work today. Woot!

You're welcome Josie :) Thank you for having story time with me and I wanna hear the rest when you get a minute!!
Whispering, I'm just hoping for no broken bones since he's such a daredevil!!
Red, you're right, there is and it's for all the wrong reasons, but I'm ok with that right now :)
I'm sure the kid will be happy and looking forward to being away! : )
Issues with the driver huh? That's blog fodder right there.
Porkstar-I'll post more about that as soon as I make the decision as to whether or not I'm done with him. That right there will depend on if I can get my driving privileges modified.
